Festival of Trees

McKenna loves to go to the Festival of Trees! This year we went with Libby & Lannea. They had a "Twilight" tree. It was pretty cute. However, the girls liked the "High School Musical" tree the best.

The Nutcracker 2008

McKenna's Dance Company does their own version of "The Nutcracker" They call it "The Children's Nutcracker" because it's cast is 95% children from the ages of 2 - 18. McKenna would love to be in the "real" Nutcracker, especially after seeing pictures of my sister's niece ( Randy's family) star as Clara in a traveling tour of "The Nutcracker". Her goal is to one day be Clara or the Snow Princess in her dance class. This is her third year doing the show. The 1st year she was an ANGEL, the 2nd year she was a GINGERELLE, and this year she was a TOY SOLDIER. She is a good little dancer and loves to perform!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually not until after Thanksgiving...I buy too much if I start too early!

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not that I remember!

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Mom's Caramels

16. Favorite Christmas song? Anything from "Forgotten Carols"

17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay at home.

18. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star & a bow

19. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning. The kids get jammies on Christmas Eve.

20. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? People that get offended when I say "Merry Christmas"

21. Favorite ornament theme or color? Red & White candy cane things.

22. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Turkey

23. What do you want for Christmas this year? My bathrooms repainted

24. Do you go "Black Friday Shopping"? Not seriously!
